018 | A Week of Firsts
This past week was one of firsts for me and I’m sharing it with you. From launching my first book to speaking about it in public and more. Discover what BE #StrongHER, my guide to building confidence is all about and what this guide can do for you. Listen to an excerpt of this guide and how it will help you build rock solid confidence and help you manage unshakeable fears.
You were born to rule the world and share your talents, so let’s get comfortable with being uncomfortable!
What we’re talking about
Self-Love Is Not Selfish
Self-love is not a selfish act and is actually something that should be practiced daily. Self-love doesn’t have to come in the form of a bubble bath or a facial. It can be present in the thoughts you have of yourself, in how you treat yourself and how you follow your dreams instead of pushing them aside. Self-love is caring for yourself inside and out.
Being Compassionate With Yourself
Building confidence takes practice and time. It won’t always be easy, so learning how to be compassionate with yourself is important and must be practiced. The BE #StrongHER guide will help you learn to be compassionate with yourself and to embrace who you are.
Training Your Brain With Positivity
The way you talk to yourself and the thoughts you have is how your brain thinks who you really are. If you train your brain with negative thoughts, then chances are you won’t build the confidence you need and deserve to have. Training your brain to think positively will not only change your outlook on yourself but on the world as well.
Thank you for letting me a part of your journey to becoming the strong, confident person you truly are. I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on my book and to see you in our community on Facebook!

TIMESTAMPS
17:02 (7 sec) – Is your self-talk uplifting and kind? What are your thoughts saying exactly? Are they positive or negative thoughts?
19:00 (22 sec) – Focus on growing the skills you feel most confidence about. Stop wondering if you belong or if you are good enough. It’s ok not to have all the answers. The key is to embrace your vulnerability and ask your peers and experts for support. When you begin to share your authentic, imperfect self, you are highlighting your value to this world.
